Exactly in one year the Torun 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships will start at the Arena Toruń. It will be one of the biggest events on the polish soil in the history of athletics.
The 6th edition of the Orlen Copernicus Cup, which took place on 8 February in the Arena Torun, is over. The full stands, amazing competition and what's most important the new world record set by Mondo Duplantis in the pole vault! The Swede cleared the bar at 6,17 m, improving by a centimetre the result of Renaud Lavillenie from 2014.
A delegation from the European Athletics will come to Torun on the occasion of the upcoming the World Athletics Indoor Tour meeting Orlen Copernicus Cup. The purpose of the visit is to coordinate the work of the European Athletics and the Local Organising Committee by next year’s European Athletics Indoor Championships.
